I sought to stay a second night and while the price for the room was fair for the original night, it doubled for the second night and I was told to book wary because the price would go up throughout the day.

One other note to consider is their pricing, which changes throughout the day for the same room. Check in and check out was easy and convenient. My room had a broken drawer on the dresser, which is not so much an issue as they don’t know if it doesn’t get reported. This was the first hotel I have encountered that chose to remove these items from the room. Being able to make a cup in your room is one less contact interaction with staff and other guests. The coffee maker, is an out right necessity, especially in a big resort. The guest book lets guests know when to check out where they can find restaurants nearby and a litany of other relevant information. These are two must have amenities for travelers. The bathroom fixtures in the room I stayed in at Harrahs Resort in Cherokee was filthy. When entering a hotel room, I check all high touch areas, such as door handles, light fixtures and bathroom fixtures for cleanliness. There are certain things that I look for and expect from a hotel.
